As we celebrate the birth of our great nation, we want to wish each of you a very happy, safe, and relaxing Independence Day! Whether you're enjoying a cookout, catching a fireworks show, or simply soaking up some sunshine, we hope your day is filled with fun, freedom, and a few red, white, and blue treats.

The Preamble to the Declaration of Independence is one of the most powerful expressions of human dignity and freedom ever written. It boldly proclaims that our rights—to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—are granted by God, not government. It establishes that governments exist to serve the people, and may govern only with their consent—a radical and courageous idea at the time, and a cornerstone of the American spirit ever since.
