Every year, on the third Friday of September, we celebrate National Tradesman Day—a day dedicated to recognizing the skilled individuals who build, maintain, and repair the infrastructure that keeps our world running smoothly. This day is an opportunity to honor the dedication and craftsmanship of tradespeople across various fields, from electricians and plumbers to carpenters and welders.
Tradesmen and tradeswomen are the unsung heroes behind the scenes, ensuring that our homes are safe, our workplaces are functional, and our public spaces are well-maintained. Their expertise is essential not only in constructing new buildings but also in preserving and improving existing structures.
On National Tradesman Day, we take a moment to appreciate the hard work and skill that goes into these vital professions. It’s also a chance to highlight the importance of vocational training and to encourage the next generation to consider careers in the trades. The industry is always evolving, with new technologies and techniques, making it an exciting and rewarding field to enter.
We are thankful that our POD has arranged for our production department to receive new cooling towels in order to take care on hot days!
