Let’s make a difference together! Each office will collect canned goods throughout the week and donate to a local food drive or shelter near them. Every small contribution helps feed hope this fall season.
🥕 Impact & Challenges
Roughly 40% of all food produced in the U.S. goes to waste—food banks help redirect much of that surplus.
Volunteers are the backbone—millions of hours of labor are donated annually.
Rising costs, food shortages, and transportation challenges make it harder to keep shelves stocked, especially during crises like pandemics or natural disasters.
❤️ Interesting Bits
Some food banks now accept and distribute pet food—recognizing that families in need often include furry members.
The most needed items are usually peanut butter, canned protein (like tuna or chicken), rice, pasta, and low-sodium veggies—and the least helpful? Oddball condiments and half-open boxes of cereal.
The busiest months are November and December, when need spikes and donations surge.
