A Fun Jello Dessert:
Strawberry Jello Pie
Yield: 10 Servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes
Ingredients
1 pie crust
1/2 cup white chocolate disks
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
3 ounces strawberry gelatin
1 1/2 pounds strawberries
Instructions
Bake the pie crust in a tin for 10 minutes at 425 degrees or until golden brown.
Melt the white chocolate in 30-second increments until smooth, then brush it onto the pie crust 3/4 of the way up the sides and let the chocolate harden.
Add the sugar, cornstarch, and water to a saucepan on medium heat and whisk well bringing to a boil, then cook until thickened for another minute.
Turn off the heat and whisk in the strawberry gelatin, then let it cool for 10 minutes.
Add in the strawberries and arrange them in your pie cut side down.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours.
